Networking Information

 NOTE: The Networking Information content control is only visible if you connect to a system that is networked to other nodes.

The Networking Information content control displays network status information in a graphical view, as well as in a traditional list view. The graphical view improves visualization and is the default view.

Graphical View

List View

To see network information in a graphical view:

In the main navigation area, select System information – Network Information.

To toggle between the graphical and list views:

Click (switch to list view) or (switch to graphical view).

To arrange the network layout:

Click (Tools), and then select Setup network layout. A Setup Network Layout window appears allowing you to arrange the layout.

To refresh networking information:

Click (Tools), and then select Refresh networking information now.

To perform a node option:

Right-click on a node either in a graphical or list view, and then select one of the following:

o      Launch DB Programming Launches DB Programming for the selected node. If the required version of DB Programming is not installed, an error message appears.

o      Open Message Print window Launches the message print window for the selected node. If there is not already a system connection for the node, the system prompts you to create a new connection.

o      Open new System Administration & Diagnostics Launches a new instance of System Administration & Diagnostics for the selected node. If there is not already a system connection for the node, the system prompts you to create a new connection.
