Database reporting in the Reporting tab provides reporting for the active connection. Because Database Reporting always uses the most recent backup database file and does not employ ongoing communication with the system, it is not considered part of the Embedded Reporting feature. Therefore, when the Embedded Reporting feature is disabled, the Reporting tab still allows you to view Database Reporting.
NOTE: Database Reporting is available for v5.0 and later systems only. If the active connection version is unknown or is a pre-5.0 version, the Database reporting tab does not appear.
If warnings or errors occurred during the most recent backup attempt, this status is shown adjacent to the backup description. The tooltip for this indication gives further description of the warning or error.

Generating Reports from the Active Connection
In the report area, you can do any of the following actions:
To export the report to a file
To show or hide the report's parameter panel
To show or hide the report's group tree
To adjust the text size in the report
) next to the current entry in a list (such as Include, Exclude, Group by, etc.). A drop-down list appears. Locate the entry that you want to select, either by scrolling or typing the first letter of the entry, and then click the entry.
(Apply).
(Show the Advanced dialog box) to see all available values for a parameter. When the Enter Parameter Values dialog box appears, select and move one or more entries from the Available Values list to the Selected Values list. For example, you can create an ARS report showing route groups and facility groups by selecting Route Groups and Facility Groups.
(Delete).
(Save custom report). Note that this button is enabled only when settings are modified for a custom report.
(Save as new custom report) before or after making changes.
.(Delete custom report). Note that this button is enabled whenever a custom report is being viewed, but never for a standard report.
