If there is an active connection and the system version is v5.0 or later, the Report from <active connection> option appears. This option expands to allow for the section of which backup to use.
In the Database reporting window, click Change source, and then select Report from <active connection>. All backup files found in the programmed location for backups are shown by date, with the most recent at the top of the list.
Select the backup file you want to use. The report content is automatically refreshed.
When the report source is a connection backup, the text in the Report Source area of the Database Reporting window shows the name of the connection and the date and time of the backup.
Select Get new backup. The backup begins, and status is shown in the Report Source area, just as it is on the Database reporting tab.
Select Configure backups. The Edit System Connection window appears, focused on the Backups tab.
Change the backup location, backup content, backup scheduling, or any other backup configuration fields.
Click Save connection to close the window. The report content is not affected by this operation until the next scheduled or test backup completes.
NOTE: Configure backups is not offered for connections with only Remote Configuration programmed. This is because scheduled backups are not supported for these connections.
