Using the Open existing database menu option, you can open DB Programming for an existing database session that was created by using the Database Save feature.
Click System management tools, and then select Open existing database. A standard browse dialog box appears.
Navigate to the file (.intl) that you want to open, and the click Open. The default folder is My Documents\5000CP. The default filename is 5000CP.intl.
When DB Programming is opened, the root name of the selected file (for example, Node 2 7-19-2009) appears in the status bar at the bottom of the DB Programming window and in the Windows taskbar icon for the DB Programming application instance.
If there is already an active connection with the same name, the System Administration & Diagnostics application prompts you to choose whether to open a new independent connection or to open the already active connection. Similarly, if there is already a saved offline session with the same name, the System Administration & Diagnostics prompts you to choose whether to open a new independent connection or to open the saved offline session. If a new session is opened, the name is modified by adding “_x” where x is the next available number. For example, 5000CP_1.intl.
NOTE: Although you could browse to the folder where backups are stored automatically and open one of the backup databases using the Open existing database menu option, Mitel recommends that you use one of the following menu options to open those backup databases:
– Recent backups
– Manage backups
