You can configure how the System Administration & Diagnostics application behaves on the computer in the General tab.
Click (Setup) in the main window, and then select Options. The Option dialog box appears.
Select the General tab.
Select the user type that you want to use from the User type drop-down list. The available types are:
System Administrator (default): Includes end users and field technicians.
Mitel Support: Includes technical support personnel.
Reporting User: Intended to be used by "business-level" users who are not system administrators. When this type is selected, the main UI is simplified to show just the Reporting tab. In addition, the System management tools button and the System Monitoring section are hidden.
Based on the user type, the user interface is customized for the user type. The settings for each user type apply to all system connections.
Program the settings as described below:
Click Apply, and then click OK.
