Viewing Application Details

You can view the detailed information of an application.

To see application details:

1. In the navigation area, select System information – Application Information.

2. Do one of the following:

• Double-click the application that you want to view.

• Right-click the application that you want to view, and then select View application details.

The following list shows the field descriptions of the Details tab:

Application details:

• Status The status of the system (Running, Stopped, Suspended, or Dead).

• License The CP license, , if available.

• Version The version of the 5000 CP.

• Build date The date and time when the 500 CP was built, if available.

• Automatic startup Whether the system is set to launch automatically.

• Startup script The status of the startup.

  The runtime application dependency model. For example, for a child application to run, the parent application need to be running first.

  Tooltip>>Moving the pointer over the icon shows a tooltip with a description of the application status (Running, Stopped, Suspended, or Dead).

Commands:

• Command detailsa

  The Process ID (PID) and the time and date they were performed. The PID is used when troubleshooting events by identifying the life and death cycle of a process. The PID is identified in the application logs so you can find the application and its status recorded in the logs. The commands include:

  • Start: When the application was started.

  • Restart: When the application was last restarted.

  • Stop: When the application was stopped.

  • Suspend: When the application was suspended. It indicates the user attempted to stop the application and it is running in a suspended state.

  • Wakeup: When the application is issued this command, the application resumes data processing from a suspended state.

  • Insert: When the application was inserted. For example, a T1/E1/PRI module or Loop Start-2 module can be hot-swapped. When the new module is inserted, this field is updated for that module.

  • Extract: When the application was extracted. For example, a T1/E1/PRI module or Loop Start-2 module can be hot-swapped. When the module is extracted, this field is updated for that module.

  • Upgrade: When the application software was last upgraded.

  • Downgrade: When the application software was last downgraded.

To download log files:

1. Click Download log files. The Save As dialog box appears.

2. If desired, change the save location and the file name (.zip).

3. Click Save.

To refresh application data:

Click (Refresh application).
