Setting Up Multilingual Voice Prompts

1. Set the Station Mailbox user interface and prompt language.

  1. 2142-04: Station Mailbox User Interface Stations: Config: IntraMail: Setup (2142): User Interface]
    Use this option to set the Station Mailbox user interface. You can choose either Mnemonic or Numeric.
    Each language can provide either a mnemonic or numeric user interface.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] Mnemonic.
    2 Numeric.
  2. 2142-05: Station Mailbox Voice Prompt Language Stations: Config: IntraMail: Setup (2142): Prompt Language]
    Use this option to set the Station Mailbox voice prompt language. You can choose English, French, or Spanish.
    Each language can provide either a mnemonic or numeric user interface.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] English.
    2 French.
    3 Spanish.

2. Set the Department Group Mailbox user interface and prompt language.

    Use this option to set the Department Group Mailbox user interface. You can choose either Mnemonic or Numeric.
    Each language can provide either a mnemonic or numeric user interface.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] Mnemonic.
    2 Numeric.

    Use this option to set the Department Group Mailbox voice prompt language. You can choose English, French, or Spanish.
    Each language can provide either a mnemonic or numeric user interface.

    2 French.
    3 Spanish.

3. Select the language for outside lines.

  1. 3131-04: Voice Prompts [Lines: Config: Options: IntraMail (3131): Prompt Language]
    When voice mail answers a call on the line, Use this option to set the voice prompt language played to the caller. You can choose English, French, or Spanish.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] English.
    2 French.
    3 Spanish.
  2. The 3131-03 User Interface option is currently not used.

4. Select the IntraMail default language.

  1. 4203-01: Default Language [Voice Mail: IntraMail: Config: Default Language (4203): Default Language]
    Use this option to set the IntraMail default voice prompt language. You can choose English, French, or Spanish.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] English.
    2 French.
    3 Spanish.
  2. Station Mailbox, Department Group Mailbox, Call Routing Mailbox, and line settings override the default language.

5. Set the Routing Mailbox prompt language.

    Use this option to set the Routing Mailbox voice prompt language. You can choose English, French, or Spanish.
    Option Description
    1 [Default] English.
