Using Transfer
To Transfer your call:
-
Do not hang up.
-
Press TRANSFER.
-
Do one of the following.
-
Dial your co-worker's extension.
-
Press a Call Coverage or Hotline key. (Also see Hotline Automatic Transfer below.)

Press a DSS key.
-
Dial a Ring Group or UCD Group master number.
-
Do one of the following.
-
Announce the call to make a Screened Transfer, then hang up.

Press the flashing line key to return to the call if your co-worker doesn't want
it.
-
Hang up to send the call through unscreened.
-
Press V_MAIL to Transfer the call to your co-worker's
mailbox.
-
If unanswered, your call will recall to you. If you don't answer the recall, the call
normally diverts to Key Ring.
To Transfer your call directly to a co-worker's mailbox:
-
Do not hang up.
-
Press TRANSFER.
-
Press V-MAIL.
-
Dial your co-worker's extension number.
-
Hang up.
To Transfer your call using Hotline Automatic Transfer:
-
Do not hang up.
-
Press a Hotline key.
-
Do one of the following.
-
Announce the call to make a Screened Transfer, then hang up.
-
Press the flashing line key to return to the call if your co-worker doesn't want
it.
-
Hang up to send the call through unscreened.
-
Press V_MAIL to Transfer the call to your co-worker's
mailbox.
-
Hang up.
-
If you don't have Hotline Automatic Transfer enabled for your extension, hanging up
in this step disconnects the call.
To Transfer a call to your co-worker’s speakerphone using Handsfree Transfer:

While on an outside call, do one of the following.
-
Press TRANSFER and dial a co-worker's extension
number.
-
Press Hotline key for your co-worker.
-
Listen for two beeps.
-
If you hear ringing instead of two beeps, you cannot use Handsfree Transfer.

Press FLASH to send the call directly to your co-worker’s
speakerphone.
-
You can optionally press TRANSFER to get Intercom dial tone
and select another co-worker for the Transfer.
