Setting Up Group Call Pickup

1. Set up the Group Call Pickup extension options.

  1. 2113-03: Pickup Group Stations: Config: Options: Groups (2113): Pickup Group]
    Enter the number of the Pickup Group (1-8) to which the extension should belong.
    Option Description
    0 [Default] Unassigned.
    1-8 Extension assigned to Pickup Group 1-8.

2. Set up the Group Call Pickup line options.

  1. 3113-01: Pickup Group Assignment [Lines: Config: Options: Ringing (3113): Pickup Group]
    If an incoming call should ring all extensions in a Pickup Group, assign the Pickup group to the line in this option.
    Option Description
    0 [Default] Unassigned.
    1-8 Extension assigned to pickup group 1-8.
  2. 2131-[01-64]: Line Access Stations: Config: Line Access: Line Access (2131): Line Access]
    If an incoming call should ring all extensions in a Pickup Group, make sure the extensions in the group have incoming (option 1) or full (option 3) access to the line.
    Option Description
    0 No access.
    1 Incoming access only
    2 Outgoing access only.
    3 [Default] Full access.
  3. 2132-[01-64]: Line Ringing Stations: Config: Ring Assign: Line Ringing (2132): Ring Assignment]
    Enable ringing for all extensions in the Pickup Group that should ring for the line.
    Option Description
    0 Lamp only (no ringing) day and night.
    1 Day and night ringing.
    2 Night ringing only.
    3 Delay ringing day and night.

    DSX-80/160
        1 for extensions 300-315 on lines 1-12.
        0 for all other extensions.
    DSX-40
        1 for extensions 300-307 on lines 1-8.
        0 for all other extensions.
