Viewing Software License Information

You can view software license information in the System Information content control.

To view software license information:

1. In the navigation area, select System Information – System Information.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Click the hardware ID (shown in blue).

   • Click (Tools), and then select View software license.

The License Information content control appears. The License Information window displays the details of the license, including data displaying the number of license components currently in use, allowed, and pending.

The following list shows the descriptions of the License Information content control tabs:

• General

  The software license features and the usage information.

• Phonesa

  The detailed information of the phone license usage. The usage table displays the phone extension, phone status (In-use or Pending), and phone category license.  

• SIP trunksa

  The detailed information of the SIP trunk license usage. The table  displays a list of devices that are waiting for the software license.

• SIP voice mail portsa

  The detailed information of the SIP voice mail port license usage. The table displays a list of devices that are waiting for licenses.

a. These tabs only appear when the specific license is programmed or there are devices pending for the licenses. For example, if there is no SIP trunk license programmed, the License Information content control does not show the SIP trunks tab. However, if there are SIP trunks that are pending for the licenses but no license programmed, the SIP trucks tab appears and shows the SIP trunks that are pending for the licenses.

The Software license usage pane shows the status of the Phones, SIP trunks, and SIP voice mail ports. The statuses are In-use, Allowed, or Pending.

To refresh license information:

Click (Refresh license information).

To collapse or expand the pane:

Click the header area in the pane.
