Using the Launch 5000 CP Administrative Web Session (AWS) Web page menu option, you can launch Internet Explorer and then open the 5000 CP AWS Web page. This option is always visible and enabled, as long as a valid connection exists and is selected in the System Connection drop-down list. If the 5000 CP authentication fails, this option remains enabled so that you can edit the user name and password for the connection and try again.
Whenever the AWS Web page is launched, if not already connected, System Administration & Diagnostics automatically connects to the active connection. If the connection is Modem or Remote Configuration, System Administration & Diagnostics launches the AWS Web page as soon as the connection is complete. If the connection is onsite or Network, launch takes place almost immediately after verifying the IP address and ports.
Click System management tools, and then select Launch 5000 CP AWS webpage for <connection name>. The 5000 CP AWS Web page appears.
