Disconnecting a Connection

When the System Administration & Diagnostics application is connected to the active connection, the Disconnect button appears in the Information bar for Modem and Remote Configuration connections. Using the Disconnect button, you can disconnect a connection from a system without closing the application (the System Administration & Diagnostics window stays open). This button does not appear for an onsite or Network connections because there is no on-going active connection.

To disconnect a connection from a system:

Click Disconnect in the Information bar.

While disconnecting a connection, the System Administration & Diagnostics application checks to see if DB Programming is active or other applications are using the connection. The disconnecting process and possible warning messages are described in Disconnect Connections.

To reconnect a connection:

Click Connect in the Information bar.
