Deleting a Connection

You can delete a connection at any time.

To delete a connection:

1. Do one of the following:

1. • Using the System Connection drop-down list

     1. Select the connection you want to delete in the System Connection drop-down list.

     2. Right-click and select Delete <connection name>.

   • Using the Manage System Connections window

     1. Right-click the System Connection drop-down list.

     2. Click Manage system connections. The Manage System Connection window appears.

     3. Select the connection you want to delete, and then right-click and select Delete this system connection.

   • Using the Setup menu button

     1. Click (Setup) in the main window, and then select Manage system connections. The Manage System Connection window appears.

     2. Select the connection you want to delete, and then right-click and select Delete this system connection.

      

2. When the Delete Connection dialog box appears, click Delete.

While deleting a connection, the System Administration & Diagnostics application checks to see if the connection is in use. The deleting process and possible warning messages are described in Delete Connections.
