Room Monitor

Press DND + Push Room Monitor (Mon).
DND is on (green) while Room Monitor is active.
While your extension is being monitored:
1. Your display shows:
  - Monitored by (name or extension number) (if more than one extension is monitoring your phone).
  - Monitoring phone in use (if the extension monitoring your phone is busy on a call).
  - Being Monitored (if more than one extension is monitoring your phone).
2. You can place and answer calls normally. You automatically return to being monitored when your call is done.
3. You do not receive voice-announcements, ringing, or Paging announcements.
4. While your telephone is idle, the Feature Key, SPEAKER, and INTERCOM LEDs don’t light. However, your telephone and LEDs operate normally when you lift the handset.
Choose one of the following:
1. Push Talk to place an intercom call to the extension that is monitoring you.
2. Push Exit to end the monitoring session.

Place an Intercom call to the extension you wish to monitor.
If you have a Call Coverage, Hotline, or Reverse Voice Over key for the extension you wish to monitor:
1. It lights orange if the extension has Room Monitor enabled.
2. It lights green when you start monitoring.
3. You can press it to monitor the destination extension.
If the extension you called has Room Monitor enabled:
1. You see: Monitoring (name or extension number).
2. You automatically start monitoring the extension.
3. While monitoring, you can place and answer calls normally and receive Paging announcements. You automatically return to monitoring when your call is done.
Choose one of the following:
1. Push Talk to place an intercom call to the extension that is monitoring you.
2. Push Exit to end the monitoring session.
