Using Prime Line Preference

To place a call on your Prime Line:

  1. Lift the handset.
    1. To bypass your prime line, press another key (such as a line or loop key) before lifting the handset.
  2. Dial the call normally.

To set up a Prime Line at a keyset:

Next: Go to next selection. Prev: Go to previous selection. Select: Select current Option. Back: Back out of current option. Exit: Exit Menu setup.
Menu + 52 Select the Primeline Keys sub-menu.

Initially, Primary Prime Line is selected.
  Prev Scroll backward to Secondary Prime Line.
  Next Scroll forward to Secondary Prime Line.
  Select Enter the setup mode for the displayed Prime Line type (Primary or Secondary).
  Select a Prime Line key. Press one of the following keys to set it as your Prime Line:
  • Line key
  • Loop key
  • INTERCOM

You cannot choose a line group as your Prime Line from your telephone. It must be set for you in system programming. Ask your communications manager.
  Save Save the displayed selection.
  Cancel Cancel without saving the displayed selection.
  Back Go back to the previous level.

Menu + Key Assignment + Primeline Keys Select the Prime Line sub-menu.
  Primary or Secondary Select Primary Prime Line assignment or Secondary Prime Line assignment.
  Select a Prime Line key. Press one of the following keys to set it as your Prime Line:
  • Line key
  • Loop key
  • INTERCOM
